The Southern Region Teen Leadership Conference is a multi-state 4-H conference created to unite 4-H teens and adults to empower and inspire them to make a positive change across the southern region through youth-adult partnerships.
Started in 2005, this conference was designed by 4-H members at National 4-H Conference to strengthen leadership abilities and create ties of friendship and partnership between youth in the southern United States.
Today, this conference brings together over 400 youth annually who share information about their state and their 4-H programs, learn ways to improve their leadership skills, and learn effective methods of developing youth-adult partnerships.
The event is open to Louisiana 4-H members ages 14-18.
Only twenty (20) youth will be selected to represent Louisiana. Priority will be given to youth who demonstrate leadership within their parish and at the regional and state levelts.
Date of Event: September 17-20, 2026
Location of Event: Clyde M. York 4-H Center in Crossville, TN
