The LSU AgCenter in Harrisonburg, Louisiana, recently hosted an educational meeting on emerging insect threats to Louisiana livestock producers. Topics included Pasture Mealybug, the Asian Longhorned Tick, and New World Screwworm. Area Livestock Agent, Tripp Morgan, presented on each threat, providing valuable information to help producers stay informed, prepared, and proactive in protecting their herds.
