01. MORE THAN
More Than a Club
Did You Know?
4-H is the largest youth development organization in the country, empowering millions of young people to become Beyond Ready through hands-on learning, leadership, and service.
When people hear “4-H,” they often picture a club that meets after school. While club meetings are an important part of the experience, they’re only the beginning.
East Baton Rouge 4-H gives young people opportunities to discover new interests, develop leadership skills, serve their communities, and build confidence through real-world experiences. From STEM and healthy living to livestock, outdoor adventures, civic engagement, and creative arts, every project helps members grow in ways that extend far beyond the classroom.
No matter where a young person’s interests begin, 4-H helps them gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to take on new challenges. Along the way, they build friendships, connect with caring adult mentors, and discover that they can make a difference.
Because 4-H is more than a club—it’s a place to belong, to grow, and to become Beyond Ready.
