Last fall researchers planted winter forage on pastures at the LSU AgCenter Dean Lee Research Station and Extension Center using different planting methods. The purpose of the study was to see if the way the grass is planted can affect water quality coming off the pastures. The researchers used different types of conventional and conservation planting methods.
