Regional Challenge Camp

Are you wondering what is it that a child can do once they can no longer attend 4-H Summer Camp? The answer to that question is Challenge Camp! This overnight camping opportunity is open to 7th and 8th grade 4-H members. During this camp, participants will complete various challenges, enhancing their critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills.

Challenge Camp 2026

Challenge Camp is open to any 7th-8th grade 4-H member interested in working as a team, participating in outdoor adventures, and growing as a person. Events like canoeing/kayaking, cardboard boat challenge, grilling your own burger, hiking trails, etc. will be part of this year's activities. Challenge Camp is November 3-4 at the Lion King Retreat Center, 3060 Shiloh Baptist Church Road, Amite, LA 70422. We are limited to 4 female and 3 male participants at this time. First come, first served. All other interested participants will be placed on a waitlist in the order the registrations are submitted in the event additional spots may become available.

• Contact the 4-H office so your 4-H Online registration can be initiated.
• Submit the $60 registration fee to the 4-H Office.
