Participants learn healthful nutritional practices, how to incorporate physical activity into their daily lives, skills to better manage food resources, and food safety recommendations. This program provides you with the tools necessary to help meet your health goals.
The cost is free to attend for those who receive SNAP benefits, qualify for SNAP benefits, receive free or reduced lunch, or other government benefits.
We are now scheduling for a virtual program! Classes and times are December 1st, 3rd, 8th, 10th, 15th, 17th from 11:30PM-12:00PM.
Our trained area nutrition agents are available to come on-site or virtually to teach your clientele or employees. Please call your local LSU AgCenter Extension Agent. One of our nutrition agents will contact you about scheduling a date and time.
