(02/08/19) BATON ROUGE, La. — The LSU AgCenter will present a citrus symposium Feb. 23 at Docville Farm in Violet.
The program will include presentations on diseases, weeds, containers and chemical control. Chemical and industry representatives will also be on hand.
The general session will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by a private pesticide applicator recertification session from 3 to 4 p.m.
The event is free for citrus industry professionals, and lunch will be served.
An informational meeting for home and hobby citrus growers will be held Feb. 27 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Delgado Community College in New Orleans.
