The Presenter:

Maria Bampasidou is an assistant professor at Louisiana State University in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness. She received a B.S. from Athens Kapodistrian University in Greece in mathematics, a M.S. from Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece in Economic Theory, and a Ph.D. from University of Florida in Food and Resource Economics.Her research areas include agricultural labor and agricultural finance with a particular focus on underserved populations including women, minorities and new & beginning farmers. She is the state Coordinator for Annie’s Project.
