The Audubon Sugar Institute participated in the Louisiana Cane Syrup Heritage Expo on Saturday, October 26, 2024, in downtown Franklin, LA. The event was held in conjunction with the Franklin Harvest Moon Festival and featured cane syrup cooking demonstrations, antique equipment displays, heritage tractors, live Cajun and Creole music, and a cane syrup tasting contest. Audubon staffed an informational booth throughout the day to engage with attendees and share insights on sugar processing and research.
