All staff from the Audubon Sugar Institute attended the Annual Meeting of the Louisiana Division of the American Society of Sugar Cane Technologists (ASSCT), held February 3–5, 2025, at the L’Auberge Casino & Hotel in Baton Rouge, LA. The meeting was held in conjunction with the annual meeting of the American Sugar Cane League.

Presentations from Audubon researchers included:

• Dr. Gillian Eggleston – “The Practical Advantages of Using MicroNutsches at the Factory”
• Alexa Triplett – “Factory Trials of a New and Stronger Amylase to Control Starch”
