ASI Hosts 2025 Annual Factory Operations Seminar in St. Gabriel

The Audubon Sugar Institute successfully held its Annual Factory Operations Seminar on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, in St. Gabriel, Louisiana. The event brought together numerous stakeholders, customers, and collaborators from the sugar industry.

The seminar featured technical presentations covering a wide range of topics relevant to sugar manufacturing and factory operations, including crystal size measurement methodologies, crystallization improvements, enzyme performance, molasses survey results, near‑infrared spectroscopy, and microbial and polysaccharide control. Presentations were delivered by ASI researchers and industry collaborators, emphasizing practical insights and applied research.
