4-H Summer Camp—Grades 4-6... Boys Spots Still Available

May 25th-28th, 2025 at Camp Grant Walker for members in grades 4th-6th. Camp Fee: $265 (covers lodging, meals, & activities).Parents will be responsible for transportation.

LOST Camp

Lost Camp at Camp Grant Walker-Grades 7-8

July 30-Aug 2nd

Fee: $250 (includes meals & lodging)

Bed Deposit: $75

This educational camp is a 4-day, 3-night adventure for 7th-8th graders. Campers enjoy interactive recreational activities such as swimming, canoeing/kayaking, archery, volleyball, dancing, arts and crafts, and much more. The tracks include videography, wetlands, ATV, SeaPerch Underwater Robotics, Drones, and more! Contact the 4-H office to be placed on the list.

4-H University

4-H University-Grades 8-12

June 23rd-26th, LSU Campus

Fee: $250 (includes registration & lodging)

Deposit: $100, Due by April 15th

Each summer, Louisiana 4-H members in grades 8–12 gather for 4-H University—a unique event that combines competition, learning, and leadership. With 30+ contests ranging from Public Speaking and Fishing Sports to Fashion Revue and Automotive Care, youth build confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Through Clover College workshops, participants explore careers and connect their interests to future opportunities. They leave inspired, prepared, and ready to lead in their communities. At 4-H University, youth don’t just compete; they discover their strengths and grow as leaders.

Birdhouse Workshop

March 3rd at the Alexandria Evac Shelter

Fee: $25 (includes lunch & supplies)

Deadline: February 20th.

Build a birdhouse, make friends, and enjoy spring activities.

Fishing Clinic

4-H Fishing Clinic will be at the Woodworth Education Center on March 31st, 9a-1:00pm. Pre-registration is required so appropriate supplies can be purchased. $15 per member covers lunch, bait, and awards. Siblings and parents are welcome, will need to pre-register by calling the 4-H office. Awards will be presented at 1pm.
