Griffin-Southside Lower and Upper Elementary School explored the importance of pollinators.
East Carroll Parish 4-H worked with the East Carroll Parish Police Jury and Office of Emergency Preparedness to help deliver needed supplies to some of the rural parts of the parish during Winter Storm Fern.
The Regional Leadership Board members met for their monthly meeting in Winnsboro starting at Plantation Nursing Home where they delivered Valentine's Day cards to residents and ending with planning upcoming board activities.
Clay Pierce, a 2021 graduate of Briarfield Academy, recently participated in the 86th Northeast Louisiana District Livestock Show and Donor's Banquet as a volunteer. Clay, a former livestock exhibitor with East Carroll 4-H, is currently pursuing his master's degree in Agricultural Education and Leadership at Auburn University.

The Henderson Project 4-H Club built a basic flashlight using a battery, light bulb, and aluminum foil. They also played Black History Month bingo, made banana pudding in a cup, and discussed upcoming events.
Griffin-Southside Lower and Upper Elementary's 2nd graders learned about bicycle safety. Students received activity books, tip sheets, and bicycle lights. 4-H Jr. Leaders Cedrion C. and Akeem H. helped with the lesson.
The Spark~Action~Change Summit brings together youth from across the state for impactful leadership, citizenship, and networking opportunities. Youth volunteered at the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, visited the Louisiana State Capitol, and toured the LSU Campus.
