East Carroll 4-H - March 2026


The Junior Leader club had a meeting at the East Carroll Parish Library where they discussed upcoming events, 4-H University, and volunteer opportunities and Mrs. Cynthia Devereaux gave a special presentation highlighting summer library programs for teens.

Griffin-Southside Lower and Upper Elementary's 4th grade club members acquired knowledge about the role of medical lab technicians, including analyzing blood samples and creating prototypes in petri dishes while exploring the functions of white and red blood cells, plasma, and platelets.

The Northeast Louisiana Regional Leadership Board gathered for its regular monthly meeting where youth finalized preparations for upcoming events and crafted a low-sugar specialty drink.

The strawberry fundraiser was a big hit again this year. Thanks to all who ordered! Your support helps the parish 4-H program with activities, events, and camps for our members.

The 4-H Citizenship Board hosted Eco Quest in Alexandria where 4-H members gained knowledge on environmental awareness, stewardship, and civic responsibility through participatory activities.
