Agri-STEM Adventures at East Carroll Parish Library - East Carroll youth enjoyed two exciting days of hands-on STEM learning led by LSU AgCenter Intern Willis Nelson, Jr. and assisted by Cooperative Extension Staff. Participants explored how science, technology, engineering, and agriculture connect through teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, and fun through icebreakers, by the science of making ice cream in a bag, operating the SeaPerch underwater rover, and simulating corn transportation across the Mississippi River via an interactive boat challenge. They also explored how drones are transforming modern agriculture and built their own drone.
