European Corn Borer, Ostrinia nubilalis (Hübner)

Adult borers have delta-shaped wings with dark lines running across them. Adult infest the drop. The life cycle is very similar to sugarcane borer or rice stalk borer. They have potential for severe infestations in rice in central and northern latitudes of Louisiana.
