Registration, cabin assignments, swim test, teen counselor meeting, educational track selection, and night-time recreation.
Following breakfast, campers will participate in one of seven (7) engaging educational tracks: Science, Engineering, and Technology; Outdoor Adventures; Gardening; Louisiana Wetlands; General Arts; Food and Fitness; and Water Safety. These tracks offer hands-on experiences and interactive learning sessions, allowing campers to explore new subjects and develop valuable skills in a supportive environment.
In addition to educational enrichment, campers will enjoy plenty of recreational time to engage in a variety of outdoor activities. From outdoor sports and archery to swimming, canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddle-boarding, art activities, and even line dancing. There's something for everyone to enjoy! For those seeking more relaxed pursuits, options include team-building activities, performing arts, socializing with friends, and purchasing souvenirs at our Camp Store. As the day winds down, evening programs offer a chance for campers to showcase their talents with the talent show, engage in our weekly awards ceremony, bond with their peers, and reflect on their experiences at our nightly Vespers ceremony. Each evening promises memorable moments and opportunities for personal growth.
After breakfast on the final day of camp, campers will pack up all their belongings and prepare to depart. Once packed, they will enjoy breakfast together before boarding the bus for their journey home. As they bid farewell to their fellow campers and counselors, they'll carry cherished memories, newfound friendships, and a renewed appreciation for the experiences shared during their time at camp!
